When do I need to pump my septic tank?

  • the size of your tank
  • the volume of your wastewater
  • the solid content in your wastewater.

When to pump your septic tank
Pump the tank when the sludge depth (SL) plus the scum depth (SC) is greater than one-third of the working depth (WD) of the tank:
